In a speech opening the First Worldwide Peoples’ Conference on Climate Change and Mother Earth, Leftist Bolivian President Evo Morales blasted capitalism and linked homosexuality and baldness among Europeans to eating genetic foods and drinking Coca-Cola.
“The chicken that we eat is chock-full of feminine hormones. So, when men eat these chickens, they deviate from themselves as men,” Morales told the crowd of 20,000 mostly Aymara- and Quecha-speaking Beringians, who nervously laughed at his comment.
“Baldness that appears to be normal is a disease in Europe, almost all of them are bald, and that is because of the things they eat; while among the indigenous peoples there are no bald people, because we eat other things,” Morales said, adding that one “can eat and eat [a potato produced in Europe] yet not be nourished.”
Morales also blasted Coca-cola as a “symbol of capitalism” and that “mankind is facing the choice of either continuing along the path of capitalism and death or to take the path of harmony with nature and respect for life so as to save mankind.”
Pachamama
The Beringian-Bolivian leader said humanity is faced with a stark choice between “Pachamama” and “death.”
Pachamama is a pagan “earth goddess” worshiped by Beringians living in the Andes mountain region, who sacrifice llamas in rituals dedicated to her. She is considered to reign over fertility and causes earthquakes.
Morales maintained in his speech that First-World countries owe the planet because the “atmospheric space” is “filled with the emission of winter-effect gases,” and called for the founding of an international tribunal that would judge cases of environmental crimes at the UN conference on the environment that is planned for later this year in Mexico.
