The few town hall meetings the Republicans have had had are, staged events at closed venues, so as to dissuade protesters from attending. Where are the Republicans on the out of control military spending that is busting the budget? Next stop Iran, billions more! When is it going to stop?

In March 2011, Vice Admiral Venlet testified at a Congressional committee, that, the F-35 joint striker jet is estimated to cost 126.6 million per aircraft! In August 2010, Israel placed an order for 20 F-35's paid for “American military aid”. This show of American largess was in exchange for, “a 90 day freeze on new settlement construction on the West Bank.”. Now Israel will get the jets AND they continue to build settlements on Palestinian land.

The cost of Lockheed-Martins' F-35 is only one reason the defense budget has more than doubled in the last 10 years. At the same time money is critically needed at the Treasury, income tax rates on the wealthiest Americans are at historically low levels. The result is, an exploding debt and deficit that the Republican Congress has failed to address.

This open checkbook military spending, associated corporate welfare programs and tax cuts for the super rich is destroying the country from within. At the same time, this “do nothing” Congress slashes heating assistance to the poor in half and is forcing draconian cuts at the Postal Service.

The Post Office is America's 2nd largest employer after Walmart and is an integral part of America's social fabric. Where are the Republicans on this? You haven't seen them go to bat for postal employees! Why? Because they're behind the destruction of the postal service and the corporate piranhas who will move in when the mail delivery service is so downgraded it will be replaced by the hard right privateers looking to make a quick buck!

The Republican Right will do nothing and will again fail to act in a timely manner to avert the next crisis. This is their plan, this is their strategy. We'll remember your asses for this. You traitors to America! You Bastards!
