I Cancelled When It Started Downloading Windows 10 But I Find Out I Have No Choice But To Download It In Order To Get Other Updates! WTF?!

ALL I WANTED TO DO IS GET UPDATES FOR WINDOWS 7 AND INSTALL THEM, BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOO, MICRO$OFT INSISTS THAT I HAVE WINDOWS 10 AS AN OPERATING SYSTEM WHETHER I WANT IT OR NOT! 

I LEFT THE "OPTIONAL" UPDATE OF WINDOWS 10 UNCHECKED, BUT IT DOWNLOADS THE UODATE ANYWAY! WTF IS THAT ALL ABOUT MICRO$OFT?!

I DID A LITTLE REASEARCH AND SURE ENOUGH, ARSTECHNICA ADDRESSES THIS ISSUE IN A RECENT POST HERE.

"In the latest raft of MS updates, the 'optional' Windows 10 option on this Windows 7 PC was pre-ticked," says one user. "Can that be right? If I hadn't noticed, it would have caused havoc here."
Other users say going to the Control Panel no longer shows the option to install the latest Patch Tuesday updates. Instead, a message saying the "upgrade to Windows 10 is ready" appears and prompts the user to restart the PC to begin installation. At least one user says the message appears with a one-hour countdown timer, which lets the user reschedule the installation but not cancel it altogether.

In one particularly disturbing instance, one user says his PC suddenly got a blue screen and rebooted. Upon starting his machine as normal, a message appeared asking him if he wanted a solution to his problem. The answer, of course, was yes, so Microsoft showed him a message to download and install Windows 10. SOURCE

OKAY ASSHOLES, I UNCHECKED THE "OPTIONAL" WINDOWS 10 "UPDATE" AND YOU PRICKS STILL DOWNLOADED IT ON MY MACHINE! HOW FUCKED UP IS THAT? OH, MICRO$SOFT BRAGS THAT WINDOWS 10 HAS ALREADY BEEN INSTALLED ON OVER 100 MILLION DEVICES, BUT, THEY WANT IT INSTALLED ON 1 BILLION DEVICES WELL, SUPPORT FOR WINDOWS 7 DOES NOT END UNTIL 2019 AND I'M PERFECTLY HAPPY WITH WINDOWS 7.

OKAY, I'VE DOWNLOADED THE UPDATES. IT'S TIME TO RESTART THE COMPUTER. LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

..., OKAY, I RESTARTED AND NO UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 10 WHEEEEWWWW! HOWEVER, I CHECKED AGAIN FOR UPDATES AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENED?! THE UPDATE PROGRAM STARTED TO AUTOMATICALLY DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 10! WTF!

All I Did Was Check For Updates And It Started To Download Windows 10 AUTOMATICALLY!

OF COURSE! They Have This Update Checked By Default! The Fuckers!

Fuck You Micro$oft!

I CAN'T BELIEVE I WILL HAVE TO BE DEALING WITH MONKEYING AROUND WITH WINDOWS 10 NAGGING ME FOR THE NEXT THREE AND A HALF YEARS. I DO NOT WANT IT. PERIOD.

LET THIS BE A WARNING TO EVERYONE EXPERIENCING THE SAME ISSUE.
